CareVacations CruiseShipAssist realizes that some guests may require an assistive device that is not normally provided by the cruise line or hotel.
Patient lifters are frequently requested to provide assistance in transferring from wheelchair to/from wheelchair/bed or other areas. Both manual and electric Patient Lifters are available in most major port cities or resort area’s. Standard Universal Slings are provided with the lifter. Should the guest require something other that a standard sling, we ask that they bring their own with them.
All hoists and lifts are carefully delivered and installed into the guest stateroom or hotel room and test to ensure proper operation. At the completion of your vacation, our specialists dismantle and return the equipment to our warehouse.
